Welcome to Muscadine Creek

My wife Becky and I
The road less traveled has taken us on many hairpin curves, a few dead ends and u-turns, but ultimately to Muscadine Creek. Muscadine Creek is a real place, but you won't find it on google maps or your GPS. Quite frankly, I'm surprised you are here as we are quite literally the last outpost on the internet!

Muscadine Creek is located approximately in the Deep South about an hour from most locations. The population is about half that of Irasburg, Vermont but the weather is much nicer.

Summers at Muscadine Creek are HOT! The average temperature is usually a muggy 85-90 degrees Fahrenheit with some summer days pushing into the upper 90s and low 100s. But those hot summer days are book-ended by mild winters, and gorgeous springs. Fall is fair to middlin'.

Everybody knows everybody in Muscadine Creek and a good source of community news and gossip can be found at the local Methodist Church during Sunday morning prayer requests. Yes, there are no strangers in Muscadine Creek. Folks will wave at you from the front porch, the General Store clerk will tell you where the best fishing is as he rings up your crickets, and they'll keep on eye on your cows when they wander outside the fence.

My wife and I figured that this would be a great place to raise our children.  So we purchased a house in Muscadine Creek and we've been turning it into a home for the past several years.  We wanted a place with a front porch for sitting and thinking, and a big enough yard so the children could play and scream without disturbing the neighbors.

So thus our very own Muscadine Creek adventure began. We hope you enjoy the stories we will share in the form of blogs, podcasts, and the occasional video. This site will be updated on a regular basis so stay regular with us! Please subscribe to our page, like our facebook page, and tell your family and friends to come sit a spell with us. From our family to yours -- y'all come back now hear?
